KNOX Council has blamed the dangerous state of a Rowville playground on a volcano on the other side of the world.
Residents say they have been warning the council it’s just a matter of time before children are hurt at the Liberty Ave playground ever since it was vandalised.
But the council has told a fed-up resident that delays in fixing the playground are in part because of volcanic ash from Iceland that disrupted European air travel in April and May this year.
